Kammy Burleson, founder and CEO of YNot Web, will be one of the featured speakers at NAWBO-Sacramento Valley’s 2009 educational symposium, the Entrepreneur’s Edge. Ms. Burleson will be co-leading a breakout session on “Information Technology for Small Business Owners” with Janet Pickel, owner of Sentinel Technology Solutions. This session will be a shortened version of Ms. Pickel and Ms. Burleson’s workshop “How to Avoid being held Hostage by Your Technology Providers” where they teach basic guidelines and best practices for keeping your digital assets, such as website, domain names, and email servers, under the control of your business and not reliant on a single “tech”, employee, or vendor.
The 2009 Entrepreneur’s Edge will be held Tuesday, February 10th at 3:30 at IKEA in West Sacramento. This event is open to any Sacramento area businessperson or business owner. To learn more about the event or to register to participate, please visit the NAWBO-Sacramento website and Entrepreneur’s Edge page.

Welcome to 2009
I hope everyone is looking forward to this year as much as I am.
As usual, I will be striving to improve our service offerings to YNot Web clients and help business owners struggling to make sense of all the new web technologies and make informed decisions.
Watch for new YNot Web design packages, restructured service offerings, more informational and educational articles, a revamped newsletter and website, speaking engagements and workshops.
We hope to make 2009 our best year yet!
