YNot Web founder and president, Kammy Burleson, an established Fair Oaks business owner and Fair Oaks Chamber member, was recently appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Burleson was elected by the current members of the board to fill a recently vacated position beginning December 1, 2009.

YNot Web founder and president, Kammy Burleson, has been selected to be a featured expert at the 4th Annual Latina Business Woman Conference presented by the National Latina Business Women Association (NLBWA). Ms. Burleson will be one of the web marketing panelist speaking about using social media for business visibility at the afternoon session entitled “How to get explosive results from the use of social media.”

YNot Web recently signed on to be a “Major” sponsor of the 18th annual Mac Huss Golf Tournament.  The tournament is scheduled to be held at Ancil Hoffman Golf Course in Carmichael, CA on the morning of Friday August 28th.  Being an avid but albeit bad golfer herself, Kammy Burleson, YNot Web’s founder and president, will be playing in the tournament with three other area businesswomen and Fair Oaks Chamber members.

Kammy Burleson, founder and CEO of YNot Web, will be one of the featured speakers at NAWBO-Sacramento Valley’s 2009 educational symposium, the Entrepreneur’s Edge.  Ms. Burleson will be co-leading a breakout session on “Information Technology for Small Business Owners” with Janet Pickel, owner of Sentinel Technology Solutions.  This session will be a shortened version of Ms. Pickel and Ms. Burleson’s workshop “How to Avoid being held Hostage by Your Technology Providers” where they teach basic guidelines and best practices for keeping your digital assets, such as website, domain names, and email servers, under the control of your business and not reliant on a single “tech”, employee, or vendor.
